Pretty Cheesy, but intertaining.
The operators controlling the robots arms have no real skill or technique, they all just flail their arms wildly. The combat outcome is more luck than anything. The teams don't design or build the robots they just take what they are given and hope for the best.
This Show Rocks!
Hubby and I were turned on to this show several weeks after it started, so of course, we needed to see the missed episodes. Used Roku and Amazon Prime Video. Lots of smash-em/bash-em fun!
If you love Robots & Fighting, you'll LOVE this...
And I'm a huge robotics fan & really enjoyed the movie, Real Steel, so this series hit home for me. There were some really great battles & some really great knockouts. Those robots would take a real beating & keep going. A few of the contestants were kinda annoying but the last two teams who made it to the end were awesome with great stories & great dreams.
I am totally looking forward to the next season on SyFy & will probably buy that one as well!
